Flyers & Info

Welcome to our Flyers & Info page. When you provide us with a flyer for your upcoming event or an information sheet we will scan it in Adobe .pdf format and include it in our web site. We will also include it in the calendar at the same time. You will need the free Adobe reader to read the flyers. If you click on the flyer link and can read it, you have the reader on your computer. If your computer doesn't have it, just click on the Adobe logo at right to get it for free.

All you have to do is to click on the bold print link to jump to the flyer or document. It will be in a form so that you can not only read it, but you can easily print it out. This will also be an easy way for you to distribute your flyers. If you are here in Oklahoma City and want to provide flyers to your folks in Gotebo so they can pass them out, all you have to do is to give us a copy of the flyer and we will put it here on our web site. They can then go to it on this page to read it and make copies of it.

Try to get your flyer to us as early as possible so we will have time to get it on the web site and others will have plenty of time to read it before the event. We will try to publish flyers for everyone's events that are consistent with the aims and purposes of the OK Choctaw Tribal Alliance, Inc. We prefer that you submit one page flyers, not larger than 8 1/2 by 11 inches. We will include dates in the description of the link. We will remove flyers within a reasonable time after the event is over. For security reasons we will not accept flyers by email. Please get them to Stormy Bryant at a meeting or call him at (405) 755-6983. You can mail them to him at 1204 NW 104th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73114.

When you click on the link, the flyer will open up in a new window. If the file is large it may take a few moments for it to load. Just close the window to return to this page.

Info
Indian Health Service Water & Sewer Service.  The Indian Health Service, Office of Environmental Health and Engineering, offers programs to install water and sewer facilities to qualified Indian homeowners. We understand that the contact person is Nena Carpitcher at (405) 214-4204.
Choctaw Nation Veterans Advocacy Program. The purpose of this program is to ensure that Native American Veterans receive benefits and services on par with other veterans. All Native Americans and their family members are eligible to receive services from this department. This flyer contains much information, including important VA telephone numbers and the email addresses of Kelly McKaughan, Brent Oakes and John Lance, the representatives who are there to assist you.
Many of you patronize the Carl Albert Indian Health Facility in Ada. As of July 31, 2010 it has been replaced by the new Chickasaw Nation Medical Center which is located south of Ada. Please click HERE to see the brochure that describes the facility and contains a map showing its location. The file is large so it may take a while for your computer to load it. Your Webmaster attended the dedication, after which we were given a guided tour of the facility. It is amazing. It is not only very nice, but it was designed for the patient's convenience from the ground up.
