On Saturday morning, Choctaw language hymn singing and preaching was held at the OCTA building. The Reverend Albert Simon preached a wonderful sermon, skillfully alternating between Choctaw and na hullo so that everyone could understand it. Reverend Simon lives south of Durant and preaches at the Durwood church near Ardmore, OK. He was accompanied by his wife, Loretta.

Curtis Boston led gospel singing in English, and Rondel Kemp led the singing of hymns in Choctaw. Rose Billy was the pianist. Norris and Brenda Samuels organized the event. We have separately shown photo galleries of the morning and evening events.
