Indian Taco Sales

Officers and board members have volunteered to be in charge of and responsible for each monthly Indian Taco Sale. They can't do it alone, so please volunteer to help them from time to time. The following list shows the responsible parties through January, 2009:

General Rules for Officers and Elections

All officers serve two year terms. The President and Vice President must be Choctaws. No person can serve as President for more than two consecutive terms. The President and Secretary are elected in odd numbered years, and the Vice President and Treasurer are elected in even numbered years.

Members of the Board of Directors serve two year terms. There are seven (7) numbered Board positions, at least five (5) of which must be held by Choctaws. Odd numbered positions are elected in odd numbered years and even numbered positions are elected in even numbered years. Each year the Directors choose one of their members to serve as chairperson.

Elections are held at the first regular business meeting of each year. For a person to stand for office or vote in the election he or she must be present at the meeting and be a member, having paid dues by December 31st preceding the election.
